For all operating systems, these Dial-up troubleshooting steps apply:
Unable to Connect:
- Please turn your computer completely off.
- Make sure that the phone line cable is not damaged.

Make sure that the phone line cable is connected to the wall jack and your "Line In" port of your
modem on your computer (laptops may only have 1 port, this is the line in port). -
Restart your computer and attempt to connect to the MojaveWifi.com Dial-up connection to the
internet in your usual way.
If these steps have not restored your connection, please review the troubleshooting sections below
for your operating system and make sure your connection settings are correct.
Slow Connection:
- Follow the steps above.
- Choose a different phone number to use with the Dial-up connection (if available in your area).
Please realize that the speed of a dial-up connection depends on many things including the age and quality
of the phone lines running up to your home. Sometimes the wires themselves can only go so fast even though everything is working properly. Also, many new web pages are no longer designed for Dial-up connections and expect high-speed connections in order to have them load up and work correctly.
